Terms of Service for KeystoneWorks Sourcing

These terms describe the sourcing desk at KeystoneWorks Sourcing. The desk helps a business buyer write a steel-building requirement and ask factories for quotations on that requirement. It is an independent sourcing partner. It is not a steel manufacturer, not a construction contractor, and does not claim authorized dealer status.

What you may ask the desk to do

You may send a brief for a clear-span steel building, a multi-bay frame, an insulated steel system, a steel warehouse, an industrial workshop, a steel aircraft hangar, or a related yard cover. A useful brief names the use, the length and width, the eave height, the bay spacing, the clear span if one is required, the project location, the quantity, the destination, and the timing you hope to discuss. It also says whether you want a shell, a delivered package, installation, or a wider turnkey list. Foundation work, freight, tax, crane lifts, doors, and utilities should be marked in or out.

The desk can forward that written scope to factories and can place the replies side by side when they use the same geometry and the same destination. The desk does not award a contract, stamp a drawing, or tell an authority having jurisdiction that a frame complies with IBC, IRC, or any other code. Those decisions stay with you and with the licensed professionals you hire. HUD Code is a manufactured-housing path and is not treated here as a substitute for a site-built steel review.

What the desk does not promise

No price is published on this site. A figure you type as a budget is a planning note. It may be an amount or a range, in a currency you name, per unit or for the whole order. It is not a quotation and it is not a statement that a factory will meet it. A high-end, mid-range, budget, or undecided supplier preference is your preference. It is not a rating the desk has verified, and you do not need a live price before you send the brief.

Stock, lead time, freight, and code acceptance remain unconfirmed until a named supplier answers the exact system. Certificates such as IAS AC472 or ISO 9001, and standards such as AISC 360, ASCE 7, or AWS D1.1, are documents you may ask that supplier to show. They are not credentials of KeystoneWorks Sourcing. A search for another company’s name, including questions about a parent company or a builder program, does not create a supply relationship with that company.

The form and later messages

Sending the form gives the desk the company details and the building requirement you wrote. Optional budget, currency, per-unit or whole-order basis, and supplier preference are buyer notes. When JavaScript runs, they are merged into the requirement for review. They are not written back into the box you typed, and they are not a quoted price. The desk may ask clarifying questions or decline to forward a brief that lacks use, quantity, destination, or scope. There is no file upload on the form. If a supplier later needs a drawing, that exchange is arranged outside this page and should be described in the message.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the dimensions and loads you submit. If wind speed, ground snow load, or seismic design category is unknown, say so. Do not ask the desk to invent them. You should not send payment card data. A budget figure is not a payment.

Use of the pages

Page text is buyer guidance. It is not engineering advice and not a legal opinion for your jurisdiction. You may not present this site as the website of another brand, and you may not copy the desk’s wording into a claim that a factory has been audited by KeystoneWorks Sourcing. The desk may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use of the form after that posting means you accept the new version for new submissions. Questions about a submission already sent should be raised by writing again through the contact form and referring to the same project facts.
